Tami was born and raised right here in Western North Carolina. She has lived here her entire life. She was raised in a great family of five children. She is the oldest daugher, with one older brother and three younger sisters. She attended Western Carolina University and received her degree in Business Administration. She is married to a local builder/developer, Jamie Cook. They have one daughter, Emily, who attends a local middle school.

Tami enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, reading, and going to the beach. She devotes most of her time to real estate and also helps run her husband's building company. They own a beautiful mountain development just a few miles from the famous John C. Campbell Folk School.
